Niklas Barringer and Jan Gunnarsson established ISEC Intelligent Security AB in 1990. The founding was based upon market surveys of the rapidly growing market for technological security surveillance, which pointed towards the need for innovation. The company's concept was, right from the very beginning, to create products and product families, that catered to customers with a requirement for functions, performance and flexibility that were superior to other systems within the security system and camera monitoring sector. ISEC has since been developing and marketing advanced audiovisual surveillance systems. The concepts consists of an advanced philosophy that satisfies the high requirements imposed by the market in terms of quality and reliability for both the processing industry and security businesses. IVS (Industrial audio Visual control System) and AVISS (Audio Visual Information Surveillance System), are complete systems for security surveillance and process monitoring. IVS has, for example, been installed in the Swedish Government Offices and currently constitutes one of Sweden's largest security surveillance systems, while AVISS has been installed in the Forsmark nuclear power stations for more than 15 years. ISEC has today a professional and flexible organization well matched to react to customers needs.
