ISEC strengthens its team with David Ellis, who will lead the CCTV systems projects in the UK. With an extensive background from the security and CCTV industry, David will initially be responsible as Project Manager from ISEC for the new SRP project at Sellafield.

We asked David some question after his first few weeks at ISEC:
Why did you choose ISEC?
I was looking for a new challenge, having worked for my previous employer for over 15 years. Speaking to people in the industry, ISEC had a solid reputation as a growing company, therefore I approached the organisation to find out more about potential opportunities arising.
What is your area of expertise?
I have been delivering CCTV systems to the nuclear industry for many years, each project has its’ own challenges. I enjoy the variety of each working day being different from the other. I also enjoy meeting new people and building relationships, which I feel is very important in my role.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
Building new friendships and hopefully bringing some of my experience to ISEC from working in the UK market, as well as embracing new working techniques.
Have you ever worked with a Swedish company before?
This is my first experience working for an overseas company and I am looking forward to it. I visited the ISEC HQ in January and thought the trip from the airport and Helsingborg was very beautiful. All ISEC employees were very welcoming, and it made me feel much appreciated.
What are your interests outside of work?
When I get time away from watching my three sons play football, I like to relax by walking. Walking also gives me an opportunity to undertake my main hobby, photography. Recently, I have been photographing local cycling races and music concerts. There are a couple of local bands I have been doing promotional photos for, and to see the photos on various media platforms and in promotional print for concerts give me a lot of satisfaction.
